Warehouse Associate — Hardware Handling Server Tech Solutions | Sanford, FL | Full-Time, On-Site Overview Server Tech Solutions is hiring an experienced Warehouse Associate — Hardware Handling to manage the hands-on hardware work that keeps our testing and fulfillment operation moving. Every month, tens of thousands of enterprise hard drives and SSDs pass through our Sanford warehouse — and this role is central to that process: receiving inventory, prepping drives for testing, loading them into servers, and packing finished orders for shipment. We're looking for someone who already knows their way around a warehouse — inventory handling, ESD-sensitive equipment, and fast-paced pick/pack workflows — and can hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up time. Strong performers with a technical aptitude have a clear path to grow into our Hardware Test Technician roles. What You'll Do Receive, sort, and inspect incoming inventory against PO packing lists — flagging damage or discrepancies — and organize it into correct warehouse locations Open boxes and remove drives from packaging and anti-static bags, following ESD-safe handling procedures Prep hard drives for testing: remove trays and caddies, label units accurately, and maintain tight inventory counts Load and unload drives in our Storinators (test servers) alongside the IT team Repackage tested drives into anti-static bags and return them to correct storage locations Pick, stage, pack, and prepare product for shipping and internal transfers — accurately and efficiently Operate carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts to move materials; load and unload trucks following proper handling procedures Maintain ESD and warehouse safety compliance; keep a clean, organized work area Collaborate with Warehouse, Testing, and IT teams; take initiative on process improvements and special projects What You'll Work With Enterprise hard drives and SSDs Storinators, servers, and storage units Pallet jacks, carts, forklifts, and packing stations ESD-safe handling equipment (wrist straps, mats, anti-static bags) Inventory/warehouse management systems (WMS) and packing list verification Required Experience & Qualifications 1+ years of warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, or distribution experience — required Demonstrated experience handling sensitive/fragile equipment (electronics, hardware, or similarly delicate goods) — required Familiarity with ESD-safe handling procedures for electronics or hardware, or ability to show equivalent experience with delicate/sensitive product handling Forklift certification or hands-on forklift experience strongly preferred Experience with pick/pack/ship workflows and inventory accuracy (PO matching, cycle counts, or similar) Comfortable with physically active work: on your feet all day, repeated bending and reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs Able to work in a warehouse that's air-conditioned but can get warm during Florida summers Dependable and punctual, with a track record of reliability in past roles Nice to Have Experience with Amazon FBA prep or e-commerce fulfillment Background working with servers, hard drives, SSDs, or other computer hardware Interest in growing toward a Hardware Test Technician role Schedule Monday-Friday, full-time, on-site in Sanford, FL Compensation & Benefits $16.00-$18.00/hour (commensurate with experience) 401(k) after one year Paid time off A real path to grow into Hardware Test Technician roles
