Job Description
We are looking for a Warehouse Associate in the Columbus Oh area to maintain the warehouse inventory and ensure the timely preparation and dispatch of materials to technicians. •This is a part time role 7:30AM-12:30PM M-F Specific responsibilities include: Plans and organizes the warehouse for maximum use and efficiency. Ensures that there is an adequate supply of (minor & major) materials, including PPE. Conducts regular and/or spot checks inventories of technician's equipment using inventory system to maintain min/max levels. Ensures workplace health and safety requirements are met and takes responsibility for the security of the building and inventory. Keeps stock control system up to date as well as planning future capacity requirements. Orders product from main supplier to ensure sufficient inventory levels. Receive, inspect, and store equipment, materials, and/or supplies to company standards. Break down empty boxes and empty garbage cans into the dumpster daily. Utilize provided schedule to coordinate equipment pickup. Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required 2-3 years of warehouse experience preferred with knowledge/use of RF scanner Must display initiative and be a self-starter Able to work in storage facility and in all weather conditions Able to effectively use hand tools, pallet jack, and dolly Able to organize and maintain warehouse free of safety hazards
