Job Description

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for processing customer returns, inspecting returned items, and deciding whether to restock, recycle, or dispose of them. Your proactive approach and strong work ethic will help us deliver exceptional service to our Amazon customers and support our company's ecommerce growth. The primary goal of the position is to process returned products quickly and accurately to recover value and reduce waste.
Key Responsibilities Process Returns:
Receive, open, and sort returned packages or merchandise from customers.
Inspect Items :
Check products for damage, wear, or missing parts.
Grade and Sort :
Classify items into categories like sellable, repairable, or scrap.
Update Records :
Enter return data into inventory and computer tracking systems.
Route and Restock:
Repackage sellable goods with new barcodes or send damaged items to liquidation and recycling streams.
Track Documentation:
Verify return merchandise authorization (RMA) paperwork, shipping labels, and digital inventory records.
Qualifications and Skills Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management software.
Data entry:
Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining precise records of inventory movements.
Interpersonal:
Customer service mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners.
Computer Skills :
Basic computer use and attention to detail.
Physical Ability :
Physical ability to lift up to 10 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
Work Environment :
Fast-paced warehouse / distribution center.
Software:
MS NAV, Asana and Amazon Seller Central are preferred but not required.
