  • Position Summary
  • The Warehouse Worker / Material Handler supports operations within a fast-paced compressor manufacturing environment. This role is hands-on and focused on material movement, staging, and inventory support to ensure production teams have the materials needed to meet daily goals on 2nd shift. The position requires attention to safety, accuracy, and workflow coordination.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Support daily warehouse and material handling operations + Receive, stage, move, and deliver materials, components, and finished goods to designated production and storage areas + Load and unload materials using pallet jacks, carts, and forklifts as required + Verify materials against pick lists, production needs, and inventory records + Maintain accurate material flow between warehouse, production, and finished goods areas + Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and material organization + Identify and report material shortages, damaged items, or inventory discrepancies to supervisors + Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and routed according to procedures + Follow all safety rules, work instructions, and PPE requirements + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area + Support workflow efficiency to help minimize downtime and meet production targets •Qualifications•+ High school diploma or equivalent required + 2+ years prior warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing experience + Experience working in a fast-paced, industrial or production environment + Ability to follow work instructions and basic documentation + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift + Comfortable standing, walking, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks + Forklift or pallet jack experience preferred + Basic computer skills for inventory tracking or data entry + Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team •Work Environment•Fast-paced compressor manufacturing environment Regular exposure to industrial equipment, forklifts, and pallet jacks Standing, lifting, and repetitive material handling throughout the shift Required use of PPE and adherence to safety standards at all times •Job Type & Location•This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tallahassee, FL.
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $18.00
  • $20.70/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
