Schedule:
Part-Time (Potential to turn Full-Time) Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 3:00 PM to 11:00PM:
Overtime available as neededPay Rate:
$17.75/per hour. As a Material Handler, you will keep operations running smoothly by managing the safe transfer, storage, and tracking of raw materials and finished goods.Responsibilities:
- Unload, move, and deliver raw materials to production or staging areas. Return unused materials, empty color baskets, label regrind gaylords, and update Material Control boards accurately.
- Shrink-wrap, strap, and prepare product pallets (including 12-foot products) before safely transferring finished goods to the shipping department. Build pallets or add sides to secure items for transport.
- Keep storage bins, packaging supplies, and work areas clean and organized. Sweep designated areas daily, manage broken or reusable pallets, empty balers, and safely handle waste containers.
- Consolidate raw materials to optimize floor space and support cross-functional team needs as assigned.
Working hours:
3:00 PM- 11:00
PM Skills:
- Experience with inventory data entry or Inventory Management Systems (SAP preferred).
- An open-minded attitude with a willingness to cross-train on multiple lines and learn new operational skills.
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 yearsQualifications:
- Active forklift certification and hands-on experience operating material handling equipment.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly. Comfort bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, and mounting/dismounting a forklift throughout shift operations.
- Ability to stand and walk continuously over 8
- to 12-hour shifts in variable facility temperatures and high-noise environments (PPE provided).
- Exceptional reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
