Responsibilities :

Retrieve products from the warehouse based on customer orders. Check the accuracy of orders by verifying product specifications, quantities, and packaging requirements. Pack products securely in boxes, ensuring protection during transit. Select appropriate packing materials and sizes to prevent product damage. Label packages with shipping information, including addresses and tracking numbers. Assist with inventory counts and stock organization. Communicate any discrepancies in inventory to the warehouse manager. Prepare and process shipping documentation such as packing slips and shipping labels. Maintain accurate records of outgoing shipments, including shipping dates and carrier information. Perform quality checks on products before shipping to ensure there are no defects or damages. Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain a clean and organized shipping area, following company guidelines for waste disposal and cleanliness. Work closely with other warehouse associates to ensure smooth operations. Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) to move and organize the warehouse space. Skills Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping environment preferred. Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50 lbs). Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) preferred. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods. Ability to work in a warehouse environment, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions.
