Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate / Driver and become a vital part of our logistics and distribution operations! This energetic role combines hands-on warehouse responsibilities with professional driving duties, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. You'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of commercial vehicles, including box trucks, flatbeds, and heavy equipment, while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles such as box trucks, flatbeds, dump trucks, and tractor-trailers to transport goods between locations. Load and unload freight using equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual handling techniques. Drive route schedules confidently, including shuttle driving, delivery routes, or heavy haul operations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and report any maintenance needs promptly. Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and organizing shipments. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate deliveries and pickups. Maintain accurate documentation for shipments, delivery logs, and vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial driving including driving trucks, buses, or other heavy vehicles; shuttle driving or route driving experience is highly valued. Familiarity with operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment; mechanical knowledge is a plus. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL license for tractor-trailers or heavy equipment). Experience with manual transmission vehicles or heavy haul operations is advantageous. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively within the team and with clients. Ability to move freight safely using appropriate tools such as tow trucks or flatbeds. Prior warehouse experience involving load & unload activities preferred but not required.
