Position Summary The Warehouse Specialist plays a key role in maintaining the efficiency, accuracy, and safety of warehouse operations. This position requires proficiency in sit-down forklift operation, RF handheld device usage, and the ability to work across all areas of the warehouse. The Warehouse Specialist is cross-trained to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse functions. Key Responsibilities Safely operate sit-down forklifts to transport, load, unload, and stack materials Navigate forklifts in narrow aisles and tight spaces, following all safety protocols Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any issues Operate RF handheld devices to scan, track, and manage inventory Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers Perform shipping duties including labeling, staging, and preparing outbound shipments Execute receiving tasks such as unloading, inspecting, and verifying incoming goods Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies Follow proper stacking and storage procedures Keep work areas clean and hazard-free Adhere to company policies and OSHA safety standards Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet deadlines Support picking, packing, returns, and replenishment Participate in cross-training for operational flexibility Work in TSA/Customs monitored facilities as required Perform other duties as assigned by leadership Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of warehouse experience Forklift certification required Experience with RF scanners and warehouse systems PPE Requirements Steel toe boots required. Safety vest and additional PPE provided by BWT Schedule Monday
