Part-time Warehouse Associate

Duties:

Verify and adjust/restock inventory Receive and check in inventory from containers Verify all outgoing shipments to be accurate by comparing to the sales order and ensuring all packages are in acceptable condition. Accurately label and weigh items to be shipped and ensure proper shipment method and shipping charge. Prepare detailed and accurate documents to accompany shipments and ensure all items are packaged and shipped to company standards. Plan and perform diversified sales order shipping duties including checking, inspecting, verifying, packing. Manage expedited packages to ensure same day shipment. Proactively communicate with internal departments while working through daily activities.

Job Requirements:

Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing. Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel, UPS, FedEx ship manager and other shipping programs. Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance. Relevant customer service experience is a plus as the shipping Clerk will interact with customers to replace lost or damaged goods. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to learn. Team player with organizational skills Must be able to drive Ability to lift or move heavy products Able to stand on feet throughout the day Two years or more experience is preferred. MUST have warehouse experience
