columbus, georgia Posted 8/18/2026 Closes 11/27/2026 Job details Summary Spherion $12.00 per hour Temp to Perm 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Industry warehousing & distribution (Transportation and Material Moving Occupations) Reference number S_179389 We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented and organized Warehouse workers to join our team at multiple locations in Columbus, GA.. The ideal candidate will have expertise in one of the following: shipping and receiving, inventory control, picking, packing and rework. These roles are vital in ensuring smooth and efficient operations throughout the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Shipping and Receiving:
Accept and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Document and verify shipment information using inventory management systems.
Inventory Control:
Perform regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy. Update and maintain records in inventory management systems. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Picking and Packing:
Accurately pick products according to customer orders. Pack items securely to minimize damage during transit. Ensure all items are labeled correctly and meet quality standards.
Rework:
Inspect products for defects or inconsistencies. Repair or repackage items to meet quality requirements. Collaborate with team members to implement corrective actions.
Working hours:
8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Skills:
... Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software Familiarity with barcode scanning and labeling equipment Organizational and problem-solving skills
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
