Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team as soon as possible. The ideal candidate must have a valid forklift certification and be able to lift 50 pounds or more daily, repeatedly. Flexibility for early work hours is a plus, with shifts sometimes beginning at 7 am. Weekends are off. Eligible for overtime; however, 40 hours are guaranteed. Overtime is on a week-to-week basis and can range from 1 to 8 hours per week. After 6 months on the job, employees can qualify for paid sick leave. After 1 year on the job, employee can qualify for paid vacation time, as well. Spanish speaking is HIGHLY preferred. The starting rate is $20 an hour with potential for raises based on performance after 12 months with the company. Must be legally authorized to work in the US. Duties Your primary responsibilities will be loading, unloading, and sorting products into and out of our warehouse and loading trucks with products for delivery drivers Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse areas Conduct and maintain regular inventory counts and report discrepancies. Pick and pack products accurately for customer orders and prepare products for shipping. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to load and unload shipments. Inspect products for damages or defects before storage or shipment and report any damaged or defective items to management. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe by following safety procedures. Coordinate with delivery drivers to ensure smooth operations. Communicate any stock shortages or issues promptly. Execute heavy lifting tasks, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Valid forklift certification is required. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more daily and repeatedly. Ability to perform materials handling tasks effectively while adhering to safety standards. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for effective order packing. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
