CPC Eatonton is a manufacturer of quality livestock feeds and supplements for industry leading producers. Our Eatonton, GA plant is hiring a Warehouse Technician to contribute to the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of inventory throughout the warehouse and distribution process.
Position Purpose:
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support daily operations by receiving, storing, picking, staging, and loading products while maintaining inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and exceptional customer service. The Warehouse Technician plays a key role in ensuring products are handled safely and orders are prepared accurately to meet customer and operational expectations.
What you will be doing:
Receive, inspect, unload, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and complete all required receiving documentation. Organize and store inventory according to established warehouse procedures. Accurately pick, stage, wrap, and prepare customer and delivery orders using load sheets and other warehouse documentation. Load customer vehicles and delivery trucks safely and efficiently. Assist customers with product pickup by providing courteous service and ensuring orders are complete and properly loaded. Move trailers and equipment within designated loading and dock areas as required. Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking warehouse. Maintain adequate inventory of ingredients and supplies within designated warehouse areas. Conduct routine pre-use inspections of forklifts and other material handling equipment, promptly reporting maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following established housekeeping and safety procedures.

Qualifications needed:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or material handling experience preferred. Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire. Basic math and documentation skills. Valid driver's license may be required depending on operational responsibilities. Physical and environmental demands to consider: Standing and walking for extended periods. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and twisting. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds; occasional heavier lifting with assistance or mechanical equipment. Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Sufficient vision, hearing, and dexterity to safely perform essential job functions. Regular exposure to grain, feed, ingredient, and dust particles. Exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and weather conditions while working indoors and outdoors. Frequent exposure to moving mechanical equipment, forklifts, conveyors, and truck traffic. Moderate to high noise levels. Regular climbing of stairs, working around elevated platforms, and navigating uneven walking surfaces.
