Job Description

Job Purpose:
- The Warehouse Associate - Dock at ORAFOL Americas Inc. is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods and materials within the warehouse. This role plays a critical part in the logistics and supply chain operations by facilitating the smooth transition of products from the warehouse to their next destination, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload trucks, ensuring that goods are handled with care and in compliance with safety regulations. Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness. Organize and store products in designated areas, maintaining orderliness and accessibility. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in the preparation of shipping documents and labels as required. Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues to the warehouse supervisor promptly. Participate in routine cleaning and maintenance of the dock and warehouse areas.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment. Experience with operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Familiarity with dock operations and procedures.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds. Proficiency in inventory management systems and software. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities. Basic mathematical skills for inventory counting and management.
