GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, distributes either production or non-production items and materials to various locations throughout the plant. Materials may consist of purchased parts, in-process parts, or finished golf cars and utility vehicles.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare golf carts and utility vehicles for shipment on various types of transportation equipment, including dry van trailers, ocean containers, reefers, and prep-capable trailers. This involves cleaning and some disassembly of vehicles as required. Ensure transportation equipment is clean and ramps are fully operational before shipment. Construct trailer decking for outbound shipments. Transport vehicles and parts to loading staging lanes. Complete loading inspections to ensure all products are loaded with good quality. Ensure work areas and other designated work areas are maintained in a safe and neat manner. Load vehicles and accessories according to the specified load sheet. Package parts for international and domestic shipments. Upload photos and load audit sheets to the loading database. Performs other related duties as required.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains a safe and productive work environment by ensuring the work area is clear of tools, brooms, debris, and other items that may present a hazard. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. Must be able to work overtime as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

High School Diploma/Equivalent required. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Must be able to read and write in English.

Experience:

Working knowledge of material handling equipment and warehouse operations preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Requires occasional lifting of objects of objects 25 to 50 pounds. This job requires working both indoors and outdoors and being exposed to various weather conditions. Work requires periodic stooping/bending and frequent walking/standing. Work involves activities that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, or vehicles.
