Overview Join our team as a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker and become a vital part of our operation! This role combines safe, efficient deliveries with hands-on warehouse tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining excellent customer service, and supporting warehouse operations through manual handling and material movement. Duties Safely operate box trucks, flatbeds, and pick up trucks to deliver goods to customer locations while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload shipments using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques, ensuring safe lifting practices and weight management in the workplace Plan and follow efficient route driving schedules to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining a focus on safety and customer satisfaction Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and supporting overall material handling activities Use mobile devices or GPS systems to track deliveries, update delivery statuses, and communicate effectively with dispatch teams Load & unload goods from vehicles with attention to heavy lifting safety protocols and manual transmission operation when applicable Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns Experience Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred Delivery driver experience with a clean driving record. Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is highly desirable Knowledge of manual handling techniques, heavy lifting safety practices, and load securing procedures in compliance with workplace safety standards Valid driver's license suitable for operating vehicles Ability to adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT regulations, and safe driving practices at all times Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service This position requires a valid license, clean driving record, a background test, and drug tests
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
