Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate order fulfillment, and smooth shipping and receiving processes. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help us maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity. Responsibilities Assist with inventory management using warehouse management systems and inventory software to track stock levels, locations, and movements. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently using RF scanners, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other equipment. Load and unload trucks safely with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling of goods during transit. Maintain organized storage areas by stocking shelves, labeling products, and ensuring proper placement for easy retrieval. Support shipping logistics by preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and trade compliance standards. Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and report discrepancies promptly. Use data entry skills to update records in ERP systems like AS400 or MRP software while maintaining detailed logs of shipments, receipts, and inventory movements. Requirements Proven experience working in warehouse operations or distribution centers; familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is preferred. Strong knowledge of inventory management software, ERP systems (such as AS400), and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts (certification preferred), pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers safely. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for order picking & packing, stocking, and data entry tasks. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with international trade regulations is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards; physical stamina for lifting heavy items is required. Strong communication skills with a customer service mindset to support internal teams and external vendors effectively.
