Job Description
Overview Cobb EMC has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Associate I to provide the receiving, storage, securing, and disbursement of materials.
Minimum of six months experience in warehouse operations, stockroom, or inventory control in a construction or utility environment.
Working knowledge of line construction materials and corporate policies and proceduresBasic mathematics, reading skills and writing
Schedule:
4-10 hour shifts per week, 6am-5pmBenefits:

Learn more HERE To learn more about Cobb EMC visit our website at www.cobbemc.com Responsibilities What you will be doing: Line Construction Materials and Supplies Gather , issue, and retrieve materials and supplies for line construction Verify that proper quantities, weights, etc. of all materials and supplies ordered are received Deliver materials and supplies to and from other departments and field crews. Issue reusable materials and supplies back to stock for later use Properly dispose of scrap materials and supplies Paperwork for Materials and Supplies Properly route packing slips, issue documentation and material return slips Complete records for the inspection of line hoses and rubber gloves Receive and properly record materials returned by line crews Complete records for hand tools and emergency items. Utilize scanners to issue, credit, audit and requisition warehouse material Other Warehouse Duties Maintain all storage facilities and work areas in a neat and orderly manner. Keep all materials and supplies in assigned areas Inform Warehouse Supervisor when inventory levels are too high or too low based on corporate standards Obtain proper authorization prior to issuance of all materials and supplies Participate in inventory audits, as required Operate forklift, motorized warehouse equipment, and other equipment Provide adequate physical security for materials and suppliesQualifications Minimum Requirements:
High School or equivalent. Minimum of six months experience in warehouse operations, stockroom, or inventory control in a construction or utility environment. Working knowledge of line construction materials and corporate policies and procedures Basic mathematics, reading skills and writingSKILLS:
Proficient in operating forklift, and other heavy equipment Proficient with bar coding equipment Proficient with hand tools and saws Ability to work with minimal supervision and at a fast pace Possess valid Georgia driver's licensePREFERRED
