Covia is looking for a dynamic Warehouse Associate (Warehouseman) who will have a positive impact on the Production team at its McIntyre , GA location. The successful candidate will have the following
Key Accountabilities:
Safety:
Perform each and every job in a safe and timely manner. Full adherence to all corporate and site safety policies.
Mobile Equipment Operation:
Ability to operate a forklift in a safe manner. Ability to perform routine pre-shift equipment checks and report any issues immediately.
Organization:
Ability to move completed pallets of material to designated storage areas in a manner that conforms with existing procedures so that it can be easily retrieved and maintain product integrity.
Load Trucks and Containers:
Ability to interface with drivers to accurately load customer orders. Ability to safely load pallets to prevent equipment or product damage.
Job order prep:
Ability to work with Choice Bagging operator to load pallets into an automated feeder, set up orders in the system, and supply pallets of bags for the Choice Bagging operator.
Flexibility:
Willingness to train on other job functions and fill in as necessary.
Miscellaneous Housekeeping:
Ability to keep a work area and completed job clean. Work productively and ability to arrange priorities. Understand the plants' basic flow sheet and purpose of each piece of equipment. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Literacy in English both verbally and written Previous experience in the mining industry preferred but not required Demonstrated commitment to safety in identifying and managing risks Demonstrated ability to work with a team and take directions Commitment to
