Material Handler (General Labor)•

Pooler, GA Pay Rate:

$16/hour

Pay Increase:

Raises to $17/hour after 90 days upon direct hire

Location:

Pooler, GA Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM•3:30

PM Lunch:

30-minute lunch break

Overtime:

Overtime may occasionally be required About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Pooler, GA. In this hands-on role, you'll help maintain the efficient movement of goods in and out of our facility by handling, relocating, and organizing large and heavy inventory. Your contributions will support daily warehouse operations and ensure a safe working environment for everyone. Key Responsibilities Unload incoming shipments using manual methods, pallet jacks, or carts Safely and efficiently load outgoing shipments Rework, relocate, and organize items weighing up to 75 lbs Perform general warehouse upkeep, including sweeping, trash removal, and organizing aisles Prepare loads for shipping (no order picking required) Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace Identify and report damaged goods or safety issues to your supervisor Follow all established procedures and safety protocols Occasionally assist with packing operations as needed Preferred Skills and Experience Previous experience in general labor or warehousing is a plus Familiarity with packing and shipping processes preferred Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 75 lbs repeatedly Strong teamwork and communication skills Attention to detail and a focus on safety Reliable and consistent attendance Physical Requirements Ability to bend, squat, reach, and stand for up to 8 hours a day Work will be performed in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse (large doors open for airflow)
