Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Material Handler II will be responsible for packing finished goods, monitor products for defects, assist in the start-up or changeover of products and keep work area clean and organized What you'll do: Material Handler's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Bundle pipe according to inventory and shipping specifications
• Update Hour by Hour boards and compare colors, shapes, textures or grades of products or material with templates or samples to verify conformance to quality standards
• Operate and observe machinery during production, assist with Quality Control duties utilizing quality tools
• Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goals
• Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions immediately What you'll bring:
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Machine operation or mechanical skill set experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes desired
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted Within 3 months, you'll:
• Complete any required training
• Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
• Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.
