POSITION SUMMARY C.H.
Robinson is seeking a Senior Warehouse Associate to join our team and contribute to our commitment to excellence and unparalleled customer satisfaction. In this role, you will support vital operations tasks, facilitating the smooth movement of inbound and outbound cargo from trailers or ocean containers through our warehouse. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: Receive goods from customers and suppliers by offloading and loading vehicles, checking paperwork, weighing, measuring, and reporting discrepancies or damages Operate stand-up, sit-down forklifts, and hand jacks for palletization, stretch wrapping, and banding of cargo Load and unload trailers/ocean containers in a professional and damage-free manner Prepare outbound loads by matching paperwork, labeling, and handling Unit Load Device (ULD) preparation Sign off Bills of Lading accurately, verifying counts and damages Maintain the flow of materials and products in warehouses with varying degrees Stage cargo within the warehouse safely and orderly while maintaining standards of cleanliness and organization Ensure proper warehouse organization through the use of warehouse booking-in sheets or Warehouse Management System (site specific) Handle logistics accounts, picking, packing, inventory reporting/stock checks as needed to achieve quality standards outlined in standard operating procedures (SOP) or customer requirements, including reworking, or recouping of freight Recommend process improvements, resulting in problem resolution and efficiency gains Contribute to the development of new SOPs related to new business, product, or process changes Support the onboarding and training of new staff assigned to an area/department

Regular duties include cross-functional areas such as receiving, loading, picking, shipping, etc.

Completion of weekly bond checks

Execute Dock-to-Stock procedures and regulations at all times, maintaining building perimeter security and challenging anything or anyone untoward

Handle bonded import freight into the External Temporary Storage (ERTS) facility in accordance with regulations and breakdown of inbound ULD's as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Must be at least 18 years old Minimum 6 months of previous C.H. Robinson warehouse operations experience Possess good physical stamina and coordination Could be required to stand and/or walk for long periods daily while frequently bending, twisting, reaching, and periodically lifting up to 50 lbs Applicants in a warehouse role must complete a pre-employment drug screen as part of a conditional job offer

KPI's Preferred:
High school diploma or GED Previous external warehouse / freight forwarder experience Familiarity with Bills of Lading, Shipping Manifests, Delivery Orders, etc.
