Job Title:
General Laborer Job Description The General Laborer will be responsible for washing and cleaning tractors, trucks, and trailers on site as they return from timber lands. This role involves using hoses and brushes to thoroughly clean equipment and maintain a safe, organized work area throughout the shift. Responsibilities Wash and clean tractors, trucks, and trailers on site using hoses, brushes, and other basic cleaning tools. Thoroughly remove dirt, mud, and debris from vehicles returning from timber lands. Inspect equipment before and after cleaning to ensure all areas are properly washed and free of residue. Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including proper storage of hoses, brushes, and cleaning supplies. Follow all safety procedures while working around large vehicles and equipment. Stand and work on your feet for the entire shift while performing washing and cleaning tasks. Lift and handle items and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as needed during the cleaning process. Work efficiently outdoors in varying weather conditions while meeting daily cleaning expectations. Essential Skills Previous experience working around tractors, large trucks, or similar heavy equipment. Ability to stand on your feet for the entire shift while performing physical labor. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly as part of daily duties. Comfort and familiarity with washing and cleaning tasks for the entire shift. Basic knowledge of using hoses, brushes, and other manual cleaning tools. Attention to detail to ensure vehicles and equipment are thoroughly cleaned. Ability to follow safety guidelines when working around large vehicles and outdoor environments. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in farm or agricultural settings with tractors and related equipment. Experience as a washer, cleaner, or detailer in any industrial, automotive, or farm environment. Reliability and strong work ethic in physically demanding, outdoor roles. Ability to work independently and stay productive with minimal supervision. Why Work Here? Work is conducted in varying weather conditions, and attire should be suitable for outdoor, hands-on labor where you may get wet and dirty during the cleaning process. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lebanon, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
