Full Job Description Pint Size Hawaii is a full-service DSD distributor that has been operating in the Hawaiian Islands for over 40 years. Pint Size Hawaii serves ALL the Hawaiian Islands with full-service, frozen/chilled/dry Direct Store Delivery and Just In Time local replenishment. We represent select, market-dominant brands and provides a full array of services and logistics to support both our suppliers and our customers. We are looking for a Lead Warehouse Specialist to join our Pint Size Hawaii Ohana!
Position Overview:
The Lead Warehouse Specialist coordinates the movement of freight to and from storage, loading dock, delivery vehicles or containers by hand or using trucks, tractors, forklifts or other equipment. They will support picking & preparing orders on pallets or carts. The Lead Warehouse Specialist will label products with identifying information (ie: code date, receipt date, customer name) in support of delivery operations. Basic Requirements High School Equivalent Ability to work flexible hours and days, including weekends and/or holidays. Must have basic math skills Must have the ability to frequently push/pull (Force #) up to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to frequently lift up to 30 pounds from floor to waist and 60 pounds occasionally, lift up to 30 pounds shoulder to overhead frequently and 60 pounds occasionally, frequently carry up to 30 pounds, carry bilateral (25-50 ft) 60 pounds occasionally, carry unilateral 30 pounds occasionally. Must have the ability to frequently stand/walk, climb/balance, bend, squat, stoop, reach overhead, and reach forward, twist, side bend. Occasionally kneel. Must have the ability to frequently walk on surfaces and inclines that may be wet or icy Ability to work regularly in a cold environment (-20F) Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted yet still aware of one's surroundings Pass post-offer drug screening Must have the ability to work safely Possess strong interpersonal skills
