Job Description

For over 85 years, Martin Bros. Distributing has been proud to be the largest independent, family owned, full-line foodservice distributor serving customers throughout the upper Midwest. We are currently hiring for positions within the Distribution Center. The Receiver/Breaker is responsible for safely unloading, inspecting, breaking down, and staging inbound product within the warehouse. This role supports efficient warehouse flow by ensuring incoming freight is accurately received, properly organized, and delivered to the appropriate departments. The work schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (end time may vary). Key Responsibilities Unload inbound freight safely and accurately Inspect incoming products for quality, quantity, and expiration dates Break down product to required tie/high standards Stage and shuttle product to designated departments using pallet jacks Scan UPCs, verify counts, tag products, and enter data accurately Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks) per safety guidelines Follow company policies, safety rules, and work collaboratively with team members This position offers: No weekends Paid time off after 90 days 401K Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Average total compensation $40,000 - $45,000/year Benefits including Medical, Dental and Vision insurance within 31 days of hire Bonus opportunities throughout the year Holiday pay beginning immediately Performance review after 90 days and annually with potential increase Employee discount Wellness program and reimbursements Company outings and more...
