Job Description

Responsible for moving materials, supplies, and finished goods within the facility or onto trucks, manually or using hand trucks. Supports warehouse operations by ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate product handling, while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Schedules:
6:00 am•4:30 pm, Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat or 6:00 am•2:30 pm, Tue•
Sat Key Responsibilities:
Move, load, unload, and stage materials using manual methods or hand trucks Stack and store pallets in designated areas Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment Label shipments per company and customer requirements Process orders including picking, sorting, consolidating, wrapping, and shipment confirmation Verify freight accuracy; inspect for damage or infestation Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts Use RF scanners for inventory tracking Maintain cleanliness through sweeping, trash removal, and general sanitation Follow all safety and housekeeping standards Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to stand/walk 10-12 hours per shift Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 10-50 lbs Capable of frequent bending, reaching, climbing, and similar movements Comfortable working in varying noise, lighting, and temperature conditions Flexible to work extended or irregular hours, including weekends and holidays as needed Remedy is seeking a reliable self-motivated Material Handler for a local bread warehouse in Cedar Rapids, IA.
