JOB OVERVIEW

This position provides materials, equipment and supplies by directing, receiving, warehousing, distribution services and inventory. The Warehouse Associate will help maintain a clean, organized, effective, and safe warehouse to assist the company with its strategic goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Core responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: Supporting that the warehouse is safe, clean, and free of any health risks, as well as, handles issues with warehouse equipment Responsible for daily staging and dispatching of crews with correct materials for jobs. Ensure proper pad netting prepped for each job. Operates all warehouse equipment using specified safety standards for machines including forklift, carpet cutting machine and the trash compactor Organizes inventory using optimal space utilization and efficient inventory flow. This may include inventory management and inventory control with correct cycle counts. Make deliveries using the company vehicle for install and service technicians Monitor the daily schedule of incoming shipments and materials and report late shipments with carriers and vendors. Ensure all material stacked in the assigned area. Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the preparation of bills of lading, packing lists and other receiving and shipment documentation The ability to handle other duties as assigned Pick up / Delivery of installation related projects

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED equivalent Must be 18 years or older Valid driver's license Past forklift experience 2+ years working in a warehouse supervisory role with warehouse procedures and best practices Occasional carrying up to 50-60 pounds Frequent standing, sitting, walking, stooping, balancing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, cleaning, exposure to heat and cold Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Able to work with all levels of staff Experience in flooring or general construction is a plus Basic math calculations
