Job Description

Staffing Network is seeking laborer sorters for a special two-day project in Dyersville, IA 52040 for a large Waste Company. $20.00/hr. Wednesday 8/12 (8am - 3pm) Friday 8/14 (8am - 3pm)

Job Summary:

Team members will work directly with event-generated waste, including food waste, beverage containers, and packaging to sort materials into designated waste streams.

Primary duties:

Follow all safety protocols and report safety concerns or hazards to supervisors. Empty event waste bags onto sorting tables. Sort materials into designated recycling, compost, and trash streams from event waste bags in accordance with diversion guidelines. Identify and separate non-recyclable contaminants. Place sorted materials into designated dumpsters. Assist with setup, cleanup, and breakdown of the sorting area as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
