8-10 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Job Summary The Warehouse and Delivery staff is responsible for multiple things: inventory management, appliance delivery, vehicle maintenance, warehouse upkeep, and other responsibilities such as snow removal, lawn care, and other responsibilities. The Delivery staff needs to be highly motivated, self-sufficient, and also able to work well with other employees and customers in the warehouse and during deliveries. Responsibilities Stocking Trucks / Truck maintenance & care Delivery/Installation of Appliances Stocking Showroom at all locations Picking up appliances in Cedar Rapids and Des Moines Professional Customer Service Testing and cleaning appliances Lawn care and Snow removal All other duties assigned by the leader Training new employees Qualifications Ability to lift more than 50 pounds Ability to time manage Possesses strong communication skills Strong customer service is a must Ability to problem solve Valid State-issued Driver's License Good with Customers - Friendly and Informative Leadership with delivery helpers Ability to learn and adapt in a growing environment Company Overview At Appliance Plus, we take pride in serving the same Iowa communities we call home.
