Lumber Yard Associate Full-Time | [Pratt Lumber Inc.] | [Blackfoot, ID] About the Position We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Lumber Yard Associate to join our team. This position plays a key role in providing excellent customer service while ensuring the safe and efficient handling of lumber and building materials. Responsibilities Load customer vehicles with lumber and building materials in a safe and efficient manner Operate forklifts and other yard equipment to move, stack, and organize inventory Unload incoming shipments of lumber and materials, verifying counts and quality Pull orders together accurately for customer pickups and deliveries Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the yard and warehouse Provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers and delivery drivers Qualifications Ability to drive or willingness to learn to drive a truck with a manual transmission Previous experience in a lumber yard, warehouse, or similar environment preferred but not required Ability to operate or willingness to be trained on forklifts and other material-handling equipment Strong attention to safety practices and detail Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 100 lbs) regularly Dependable, team-oriented, and customer-service minded What We Offer Starting pay begins at $12.50/hr, with opportunities for higher pay based on experience and skill level.
