We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Assistant Warehouse Foreman to join our operations team and help keep our warehouse running safely, efficiently, and accurately. Position Summary The Assistant Warehouse Foreman is responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders, supporting inventory control, and assisting with daily warehouse operations. This role plays an important part in maintaining efficient material flow, shipment accuracy, and overall warehouse organization. This position also supports warehouse leadership and may assist with lead responsibilities during absences, vacations, or high-demand periods. Key ResponsibilitiesShipping & Receiving Pick, pack, and stage outgoing shipments ranging from individual parcels to bulk pallets and crates Prepare bills of lading and maintain accurate daily shipment records Obtain freight quotes for LTL and parcel shipments Schedule pickups and coordinate with freight carriers Receive, inspect, and verify incoming vendor shipments for accuracy and damage Process customer returns and restock inventory as needed Assist Will Call customers with professionalism and courtesy Inventory & Warehouse Operations Maintain accurate inventory movement and tracking in real time Assist with inventory counts, organization, and stock accuracy Help maintain orderly storage areas and efficient warehouse workflow Support material handling and product movement throughout the facility Follow established warehouse procedures and safety standards Assist in maintaining clean, organized, and safe warehouse conditions Teamwork & Operational Support Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, office personnel, and production teams Support warehouse leadership with daily operational needs Help ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule Contribute to a respectful, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability and reliability Qualifications & Skills Forklift experience required Warehouse experience required Leadership experience required Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience Familiarity with barcoding systems and UPS/FedEx shipping software is preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow instructions and learn new processes quickly Good communication and teamwork abilities Ability to read a tape measure accurately Dependable work ethic and positive attitude Physical Requirements Frequently lift and move 50+ pounds Frequent bending, kneeling, standing, and walking throughout the workday Comfortable working in a physically demanding warehouse and manufacturing environment Why Join Artis Metals?
