Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver CDL-B/Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our logistics and distribution operations! You'll operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers, while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, following FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Plan and execute delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs across over-the-road (OTR) driving routes Load and unload freight efficiently using proper manual handling techniques, forklifts, or other equipment while ensuring cargo integrity and safety standards are maintained Transport hazardous materials (Hazmat) and dangerous goods in compliance with hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and truck safety standards Maintain accurate documentation for freight shipments, delivery logs, load manifests, and incident reports Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate route adjustments or address delivery issues promptly Qualifications Valid CDL-B license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving preferred Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving and logistics cargo handling Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, or freight transportation is a plus Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely and confidently Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time tracking Capable of manual handling tasks including load & unload procedures using forklifts or other equipment when necessary Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading procedures while maintaining safety protocols Ability to work independently on over-the-road (OTR) routes while adhering to all safety guidelines Embark on an exciting career journey where your skills drive success!
