In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading shipments, ensuring accurate inventory handling, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Your proactive approach will help streamline warehouse operations, support timely order fulfillment, and uphold safety standards across all activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling within a fast-paced logistics setting. Responsibilities Load and unload goods by hand Use pallet jacks and electric pallet jacks Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory movements accurately Assist in order picking processes to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately Maintain organized storage areas, ensuring proper stacking, labeling, and inventory management Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment including forklifts and crane machinery to ensure safe operation Support shipping and receiving functions by verifying shipment contents against documentation and preparing items for dispatch Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling roles Familiarity with warehouse operations including order picker, pallet jack, cherry picker, clamp truck, and heavy equipment operation Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in compliance with safety standards Knowledge of inventory management systems (such as WMS) and RF scanners for accurate tracking of goods Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during loading/unloading processes Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation, crane systems, or construction experience is highly desirable Strong adherence to safety protocols including OSHA regulations; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment Warehouse supervisor experience or prior leadership roles are a plus but not required Join our team today to be part of a vibrant environment where your skills contribute directly to our success!
