Job Description
Current Connected is a family-owned and operated small business in Hayden, ID, specializing in batteries, solar panels, inverters, and other electrical supplies. We're proud of the close-knit, hands-on team we've built, and we're growing. Until now, the two of us owners have run the warehouse ourselves alongside a small team. We're looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to step into those day-to-day operations and help us take the warehouse to the next level. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants real ownership of their work, variety in their day, and the chance to learn a lot along the way. Electrical knowledge is a plus, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn matter most. What you'll do day to day:
- Accurately and efficiently pick and label customer orders
- Pack product to company and customer standards, then seal and label each box
- Examine and inspect products and boxes to ensure picking specifications and quality standards are met
- Identify incomplete or defective product and properly log it in the warehouse management software
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift or pallet jack
- Receive, label and put away incoming products
- Perform cycle counts and keep inventory accurate and up to date
- Stock, organize, and rearrange products in the warehouse
- Build pallets You'll also learn (no prior experience needed, we'll train you):
- Crimping cables (using a crimping tool to attach the correct size and type of lugs to wire ends)
- Testing inverters before shipping
- Helping with occasional video production setup and teardown Additional responsibilities:
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Demonstrate a high level of quality work and reliability
- Perform other duties as assigned by your manager What we're looking for:
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
- Comfortable following written and verbal instructions
- Able to work well in a small team
- Previous warehouse or packing experience preferred
- Forklift certification and pallet jack experience is a plus Physical demands:
- Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 55 pounds
- Standing, walking, and squatting for the majority of the shift
Schedule:
Full-time, 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday.Benefits:
Full-time employees receive full benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, plus 401(k), life insurance, and paid time off. Benefits begin after a 90-day probationary period.
