Material Handler -
Steel Production Plant Pay:
$17.00-$20.00 per hour We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to join a busy steel production facility. This position is responsible for moving, organizing, loading, and staging steel and other materials throughout the plant. Responsibilities Load, unload, move, and stage steel and production materials Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment Move large and heavy steel bundles safely throughout the facility Assist with loading and unloading trucks Organize materials according to production needs Verify materials and quantities before moving or staging Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards Communicate with production and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when needed Follow all plant safety procedures and equipment guidelines Perform other general production and material-handling duties as assigned Qualifications Previous material handling, warehouse, manufacturing, or steel industry experience preferred Forklift experience strongly preferred Comfortable working around heavy steel and industrial equipment Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift Ability to lift 50+ lbs. as needed Strong attention to safety and detail Dependable attendance and reliable transportation Ability to work independently and as part of a production team Pay $17.00-$20.00 per hour , depending on experience.
