Summary :
Efficiently operate assigned lift truck with great care and concern given to food, personal, and environmental safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure personal safety, food safety, and quality protocols are followed Operate industrial lift trucks and pallet jacks: Pre-operational inspection of lift trucks Loading and unloading trucks Supplying production with ingredients Returning unused ingredients from production back to inventory Tag incoming ingredients with CCC ingredient labels and move them to inventory Setting up orders for shipment Maintain a clean and organized warehouse with accurate inventory cards Keep inventory stock rotated Keep work area clean and orderly in accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practice, and HACCP . Practice first in first out on all inventory Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end cycle counts Fill out all records accurately and completely according to established company protocols. Includes bill of ladings, order set-up sheets, trailer inspection sheets, discard logs, and cycle counts Follow all safety procedures including lockout, personal protective equipment, food safety, and ergonomics. Get help when lifting 100 pounds or more. Ensure the product is placed in the hold area and secured if on hold.
Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
Must be able to work in hot and cold conditions and climb on and off lift truck throughout shift Need reading, writing, math, and computer skills Complete knowledge of sifting, blending, and processing and dryer Ability to operate (or learn to operate) lift truck Be able to lift 50 pounds throughout shift Must be mechanically inclined Self-motivated and ability to work with little supervision Must be able to move 200-pound barrels regularly Must be dependable and trustworthy
