Position Overview Gem State Staffing-Nampa is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Laborer for a premier manufacturing facility in the area. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire role responsible for verifying incoming/outgoing shipments, processing documentation, and maintaining inventory quality and workplace safety.

Compensation & Schedule Pay Rate:

$20.00 / hour

Payroll:

Paid Weekly Shift:

Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00

PM Overtime:

Some overtime and occasional Saturdays required based on production needs Key Responsibilities Accept, sign for, and verify incoming shipments against Bills of Lading and packing lists. Unpack, inspect, and route incoming items; document shortages, damaged goods, or defective materials. Enter shipment receipts and inventory data into computer systems; scan and file paperwork. Communicate effectively with downstream, quality control, and put-away teams regarding inventory status. Safely operate company equipment and transport materials as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with safety standards. Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of factory or warehouse shipping/receiving experience.

Forklift Experience:

Previous forklift operation experience desired. Training and Certification provided.

Driving Record:

Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record to operate company-owned pickup truck (no DUIs in the previous 5 years). Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills. Basic computer proficiency and simple math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Must be able to pass E-Verify.

Physical Demands & Work Environment Physical Effort:

Active role requiring continuous standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, and climbing. Must regularly lift and move items over 50 lbs.

Environment:

Exposure to mechanical parts, loud noise, fumes/particles, and varying outdoor weather conditions.
