Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver

IMMEDIATE OPENING

We are looking for a reliable, hard working individual to join our team. We want someone who will contribute to the success of the company, the team and our customers' satisfaction. This dual position will require ability to drive our box trucks and perform various warehouse duties.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to warehouse operations
• Unload incoming freight, check shipments for accuracy and put the material away
• Organize and maintain inventory in designated areas of the warehouse
• Accurately pull customers order for deliveries and pick ups
• Prepare trucks for deliveries by loading, securing and confirming that correct items are being shipped
• Operate warehouse equipment
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers when delivering our HVAC products or assisting with orders being picked up
• Delivering product to jobsites or customers shops following the route based on time/fuel efficiency and customers priorities.
• Assisting with unloading truck at each stop if required
• Perform vehicle inspection to ensure general maintenance and safety

Requirements:

• Successfully pass a background check
• Be considered insurable by our insurance company (this is repeated on annual basis)
• Must obtain/maintain DOT medical certification (we pay the annual fee)
• Must be able to deliver material to the city of Chicago
• Flexibility with early am deliveries
• Must be able to sit, walk and stand for extended period of time
• Ability to safely lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs. without assistance
• Know or be able to learn how to drive a forklift and operate other warehouse equipment
• Ability to take direction and follow through with attention to detail
• Must have positive attitude and be a team player
