This role is vital in ensuring that orders are accurately packed according to specifications, maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong manual handling skills, familiarity with warehouse operations, and the ability to operate various material handling equipment. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to seamless logistics and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Carefully pack products following order specifications, ensuring proper protection and presentation. Use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and forklifts to load and unload materials safely. Operate RF scanners for accurate inventory management and order picking. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including labeling, documentation, and verifying shipments. Handle materials manually with attention to safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards. Maintain organized packing stations and ensure cleanliness in accordance with safety guidelines. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize packing workflows and improve efficiency. Support inventory management by updating stock levels and reporting discrepancies. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate equipment and techniques. Follow all safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents during material handling. Experience Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and crane systems. Experience with order picking, shipping & receiving, and inventory control processes. Familiarity with warehouse operations including manual handling, materials handling equipment operation, and safety protocols. Knowledge of basic math skills for measurements, quantities, and inventory calculations. Previous experience in warehouse supervisor roles or team leadership is a plus but not mandatory. Proven ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.
