Full Job Description Job Purpose:
Material Handler Level 1 (Entry Level) Completes orders by picking and packing orders on pick ticket and hand held computer / scanner. Receiving inventory with use of hand held computer / scanner. Put away inventory in proper location with use of hand held computer / scanner. Keeping proper inventory with use of handheld computer / scanner.Duties:
- Picks orders for packing with very high accuracy (99.9% or better).
- Packs orders for shipping or route delivery
- Loads transportation vehicles by stacking and securing materials.
- Maintains inventory and shipping records by completing logs in handheld computer.
- Accurately and timely receives inventory and records by completing inventory receipts in handheld computer.
- Accurately and timely puts received inventory away in correct location with guidance of handheld computer.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with all regulations.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplishes warehousing/shipping and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
