Warehouse Worker Job Description The e-Commerce warehouse worker plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within the distribution center. This position involves the use of equipment to move products efficiently, maintaining their perfect condition for sale to customers. Responsibilities Operate equipment to facilitate product movement throughout the distribution center. Unload and process receipt of merchandise from inbound trucks. Stock merchandise into designated locations within the warehouse. Process orders by locating specified products and moving them to the loading dock. Pack smaller products into larger containers for shipment to stores. Load merchandise onto trucks for shipment to company locations. Essential Skills Experience in loading, inventory, forklift operation, production, picking, and packing. Ability to load, unload, and process merchandise for inbound and outbound trucks. Capability to move merchandise to designated warehouse locations. Maintaining a clean and safe work area. Accurate processing of required paperwork. Work Environment The warehouse offers a clean and safe environment, with a clean break/lunch room and temperature-controlled conditions. The dress code is casual, allowing gym shoes or closed shoes, jeans, and t-shirts, with the option to wear hoodies, provided the hood remains unworn while in the warehouse. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bolingbrook, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.20 - $22.20/hr.
