Job Description
Material Handler Position Overview Material handlers work on the shipping and receiving team and are responsible for unloading van trailers and dumping the contents into the raw product room. Ability to operate machinery Willingness to pitch in and get dirty Ability to work well with others Commitment to Zutat Feed Solution's values - Care Deeply, Speak the Truth, Roll up Your Sleeves, and Climb the Mountain Core Responsibilities Move heavy totes Assist forklifts and tipper trucks Operate a fork truck Unload pallets, totes, and gaylords from van trailers Dump food material Use a scale to weigh off landfill material Complete paperwork Complete other tasks as directed by managers and the Plant Manager Time Expectations Material handlers generally work from 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday through Friday. However, there may be times when the workload is heavier. Compensation $16/hour After a 3-month introductory period, monthly bonuses based on demonstration of Zutat's values Benefits 1.5X overtime 1 week of PTO 6 paid company holidays Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance SIMPLE IRA
