Job Description

Warehouse Production Worker Start ASAP Overview The Warehouse Worker supports the production team by performing a variety of general labor and light equipment operation tasks to help meet daily production and operational goals. This role assists in areas such as melting, mixing, toting, and packaging, operates machinery on a short-term basis as needed, and completes the documentation required to track production activities in a food manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Perform general production and warehouse duties including melting, mixing, blending, and toting. Complete Mixer Attendant and Melting Attendant tasks; assist Operator I & II as needed. Fill drums and pails accurately and safely. Operate and maintain production equipment to meet or exceed daily production goals. Operate a stand‑up electric forklift (10%) to move materials and support warehouse activities. Tag, stack, stage pallets, and load/unload trucks safely and efficiently. Complete production and labor tracking paperwork accurately. Follow all safety, quality, FSSC, and GMP procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Perform physical labor and assist with general production tasks as required. Essential Skills 2+ years of warehouse experience in a food manufacturing environment. 2+ years of stand‑up electric forklift experience. Working knowledge of GMP, FSSC, and food safety standards. Experience operating production machinery and batch mixing/blending. Ability to perform physical labor and maintain accurate documentation. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and standard operating procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with filling drums and pails with finished product in a food manufacturing setting. Comfort working around melting, mixing, and toting operations. Strong attention to cleanliness and organization in accordance with GMP standards. Interest in working for a company focused on sustainability and responsible sourcing.

  • 6am Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50
  • $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
