Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a General Laborer and become a vital part of our fast-paced production environment! In this role, you will support daily operations by performing a variety of hands-on tasks that keep the manufacturing process running smoothly. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure quality, safety, and efficiency across the facility. Responsibilities Assist production technicians with pre-assembly process including: staging and organizing materials by work order assembling brackets, mounts, enclosures, and hardware kits cutting, labeling, and routing wiring/cabling drilling, fastening, and mounting components per instruction Prepare trailers and build areas for production work. Camera & Solar Panel Installation Support installation of mobile surveillance components including: mounting cameras (fixed and PTZ) and related brackets running/tying down cables and weatherproofing connections mounting solar panels and solar-related hardware assisting with mast/tower/pole hardware installations (as applicable) Follow standard work instructions and quality requirements. Material Handling / Warehouse Support Load and unload trucks and deliveries safely. Move parts, trailers, and materials between production areas and storage. Assist with receiving, packaging, and staging shipments as needed. Maintain organization of inventory locations and production staging areas. Forklift Operation Safely operate a forklift to move pallets, crates, trailers, and heavy components. Perform basic forklift inspections and report issues or safety concerns. Follow all facility safety requirements and equipment operation procedures. Shop Maintenance & Cleanliness Maintain a clean, safe work environment (5S practices): keep work areas organized dispose of scrap materials properly maintain tool and equipment storage Support general shop upkeep and assist other departments as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, warehouse, or assembly environments preferred. Ability to safely use basic hand/power tools (drill, impact driver, saws as applicable). Ability to follow instructions, checklists, and safety procedures. Comfortable working around trailers, towers, and electrical components. Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work (standing, bending, climbing). Forklift Requirements Forklift experience required (certification preferred or must be willing to obtain). Ability to operate safely in tight shop/warehouse environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience installing or assisting with: CCTV/security cameras solar panels or electrical components trailer assembly or mobile equipment builds Basic understanding of wiring/cable routing and labeling practices. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Manufacturing/shop environment with occasional outdoor work. Standing/walking for extended periods. Frequent lifting, bending, climbing on trailers/ladders. Exposure to typical shop noise and tools/equipment.
