Back Material Handler Other Skills Deerfield , Missouri Contract Oct 1, 2026
Material Handler Pay:
$18.39 - $20.81 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Rotating 12-hour shifts 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (4 days on, 4 days off) 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (4 nights on, 4 days off) Job Responsibilities Ensure products are produced according to food safety and quality standards. Report food safety, quality, or equipment concerns to the supervisor immediately. Inspect equipment before and during operation and report any issues. Assemble, disassemble, clean, and maintain production equipment. Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when cleaning or servicing equipment. Verify product labels and lot codes are accurate. Follow production schedules and supervisor instructions. Load and unload soybeans, meal, oil, chemicals, and other products. Read scales, collect samples, and accurately weigh materials. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Support outdoor work and seasonal facility maintenance as needed. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Manufacturing, food production, agriculture, or industrial experience preferred. Basic computer skills required. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. Must be dependable with good attendance. Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays. Forklift, skid steer, pay loader, or similar equipment experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
