In addition to our metal fabrication, we have a top-of-the-line CNC Machining Department, Powder Coating Services, and Installation division which handles the installation of our product as well as general maintenance and repair on light duty diesel trucks. To aid in the expansion of our product line and manufacturing capabilities, we have relocated (still in DeKalb) to a newly constructed state-of-the-art, climate-controlled, 112,000 sq ft facility as of January 2022.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a General Laborer to perform various tasks to support production, such as prepping assemblies for production, operating machinery, general aid to the production team and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Key responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, performing quality checks, cleaning equipment, and following instructions from supervisors and experienced team members. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Production support: Assemble components, operate machinery with supervision, and perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards.

Material handling:

Load and unload materials, cut clean and prep materials, transport items, and move materials and products within the facility.

Maintenance and cleanliness:

Keep the work area clean by removing debris and assisting with equipment upkeep.

Safety and compliance:

Follow all safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and report any safety or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.

Team collaboration:

Communicate with coworkers and supervisors, assist with problem-solving, and work as part of a team to ensure smooth production flow Required skills and qualifications: Physical stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds or more), and perform repetitive motions.

Attention to detail:

A keen eye for detail is crucial for quality control, safety compliance, and following instructions accurately.

Instruction:

Capability to understand and execute verbal and written instructions.

Teamwork:

Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with other team members.

Basic tool and equipment knowledge:

Familiarity with hand and power tools a must, strong math and comprehension skills Education -
