Warehouse Technician

Warehouse Technician Position Summary:

A Warehouse Technician is responsible for the receiving/shipping of parts, packaging parts or preparing parts for shipment, and performing quality control on all parts received. His or Her duties also include: generating partial purchase orders, printing processing purchase orders, performing incoming inspections, palletizing product, and loading/unloading trucks. Reports to the Warehouse Manager. Will make delivers as needed with company vehicle.

Education & Certification Requirements:

High school diploma or GED Must have a valid driver's license Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities:

Manufacturing Process Knowledge

• Exhibits a basic knowledge of raw materials, receiving processes, and quality control. Able to read and understand a blueprint. Physical Abilities
• Able to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds. Equipment and Tools
• Able to operate a forklift. Experienced in using calipers, micrometers, and radius gages is a plus. Computer Skills
• Knowledge with Microsoft based products such as Word and Excel. Familiarity with UPS and/or FedEx software programs is a plus. Customer Service Skills
• Able to talk to a variety of customers and vendors over the phone and in person.
