Job Description

Warehouse Worker - Product Repair (1st Shift) $18 an hour
Time:
5am-1pm +

East Moline, Illinois Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker - Product Repair to support a fast-paced container management and racking operation. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, repairing, and moving containers, racks, and plastic totes throughout the facility. You'll work across multiple areas including washing, inbound processing, repair, and forklift operations to keep materials flowing efficiently. This is a physically active position that requires standing for long periods and working in a production-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Process containers and racks within a high-volume warehouse system Load, unload, sort, stage, and scan totes in the wash area Operate tote washing equipment and ensure proper flow of materials Remove manufacturer tags and prepare containers in the inbound processing area Use handheld scanners to track and document materials accurately Perform repair work on large plastic containers (approx. 2x2 to 8x8) Use hand tools (drills, screwdrivers, etc.) to complete repairs safely and efficiently Operate a forklift to move materials, including navigating tight spaces Load and unload trucks while ensuring safe handling and proper placement Read and verify shipping/receiving paperwork for accuracy Assist with staging, scanning, and verifying loads as needed Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly Support production needs with overtime (up to 10 hours) and occasional Saturdays Required Qualifications 6+ months of recent warehouse, production, or forklift experience Ability to safely operate a forklift in tight or confined areas Willingness to complete and pass a forklift skills test Experience using basic hand tools for repair work Comfortable performing repetitive, physical tasks and standing for full shifts Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently Basic ability to read and follow paperwork and instructions Flexibility to work overtime and Saturdays as needed Preferred Qualifications Experience in container management, racking, or similar operations Familiarity with plastic tote washing, sorting, or repair processes Experience using RF scanners or barcode systems Previous work in manufacturing support or production environments Comfort working with power tools and maintaining a safe workspace Why Join Us? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
