Warehouse Associate Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Support Specialist to oversee the seamless movement and management of trailers and equipment within our yard. This role involves supervising the arrival, departure, and staging of trailers, leading drivers and personnel, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams to optimize operations and resolve any logistical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise Trailer Operations:

Manage the arrival, departure, and staging of trailers to ensure smooth yard operations.

Monitor Load Assignments:

Track trip numbers and load status to ensure trailers are assigned accurately and promptly.

Lead and Supervise Personnel:

Provide leadership to drivers and personnel, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.

Conduct Safety Checks:

Perform regular inspections of trailers, trucks, and other equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Address Equipment Issues:

Report and resolve any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.

Record Management:

Maintain detailed records of all trailer movements, including arrivals, departures, and dock assignments.

Generate Shift Reports:

Prepare and submit daily reports with trailer counts, operational updates, and performance metrics. Coordinate with

Operations Teams:

Work closely with warehouse, dispatch, and operations teams to align schedules for efficient loading and unloading.

Driver Communication:

Manage trailer availability by coordinating with drivers and addressing any delays or issues that arise.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with knowledge of trailer operations. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to supervise teams effectively. Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards for trucking and warehouse equipment. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Ability to collaborate across departments and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in basic reporting and data management.

Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to work on-site during scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. The Warehouse Associate will spend time both outdoors in the yard and indoors collaborating with warehouse teams. Available Shift Tuesday -Saturday 3:00PM - 12:00
