Temp-to-hire opportunity with a pathway to permanent employment after completion of prohibitionary period of 600 hours. Kraft Heinz is looking for motivated, growth-minded individuals to join our plant operations. Permanent Employment Rate:
Approximately $25.14/hour Temp-to-hire opportunity with a pathway to permanent employment after completion of prohibitionary period of 600 hours. The primary function of the Plant Material Handler is to maintain each secondary operation by staging supplies, removing all recycle materials from the area and properly maintaining totes, dumpsters, and a variety of other procedures. The Plant Material Handler will learn how to drive two types of lift trucks to bring in raw materials to each secondary area. You will develop skills to operate pallet jacks and pallet pals. You will learn to unload raw materials from receiving using first in first out process and how to stage the material. You will acquire skills to identify defects with raw materials and the proper procedures if defects are found. You will develop the ability to read the production schedules for each of the secondary processes and prioritize task as it relates to that schedule. You will be taught inventory programs and how to navigate through each. You will be taught to load and how to transport a variety of boxes, bags, barrels, crates, and other materials as needed, to keep each secondary area supplied and supported. You will learn how to operate and/or clean and sanitize a variety of bailers, shredders and trash receptacles. Your time will be allocated by maintaining these systems by removing all recycle material and hauling this material to its appropriate location. Other duties as assigned.
