Job Description
Position Overview The Warehouse Material Handler supports manufacturing operations by efficiently handling incoming and outgoing materials. This position ensures that all raw materials and finished goods are received, stored, and distributed accurately to support daily production schedules. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent attention to detail, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing picks from Corwin Street and Summit warehouse for next-day production.
- Load outgoing finished goods for delivery.
- Unload incoming raw materials and verify shipment accuracy.
- Receive, barcode, and properly store raw materials in the warehouse.
- Maintain order and cleanliness in both warehouse locations.
- Assist the Distribution Transportation Manager with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Perform any additional tasks or duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Warehouse Manager. Physical Requirements Due to the nature of warehouse work, the candidate may be required to be on their feet for up to eight hours per day. Breaks are provided on a flexible schedule as determined by the Warehouse Manager.
- Ability to load and unload trucks.
- Ability to put away and remove materials from warehouse racks.
- Must be able to operate and maneuver a forklift safely.
- Must be capable of moving up to 250 lbs.
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.Experience:
Previous warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience required.Skills:
- Basic computer literacy.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a small, fast-paced environment
